Hi, I'm Kelly John Sapergia, the host of "Northern Lights", a show on ACB Radio Interactive, that features the best mix of relaxing music from independent and mainstream artists. Some of the genres you'll hear during the show include New Age, Ambient, Chillout, Smooth Jazz, Global Fusion and music for meditation.
Examples of artists you'll hear on the show include Enya, Enigma, Deep Forest, Marcome, Vangelis, 2002, Cybertribe, Norman Rose, Medwyn Goodall, Sade, Dotsero, the Alpha-Wave Movement, Keiko Matsui, LiteHouse Jazz Groove, Kitaro, Solitudes, and Waterbone.

How To Listen To The Show

"Northern Lights" can be heard every Thursday (Wednesday evening in North America) from 01:00 to 03:00 GMT on ACB Radio Interactive.

The show can also be heard every Friday at Midnight Central Time on 88.3 WQNA, Springfield, IL.
You'll need WinAmp or a compatible player such as Windows Media Player, to listen to the above-mentioned stations.

Alternatively, if the show is on at an inconvenient time for you, you can listen to the most recent show (broadband connection required.)
We also have a podcast feed that will allow you to download the show for listening on an MP3 player. To subscribe, do the following:

Information for Artists and Labels

Whether you're a mainstream or independent musician, label, or promoter, you're welcome to submit your music for airplay on "Northern Lights". Just contact me and let me know where I can download your music. You can also send me CDs as well, including any compilation or sampler CDs. Please contact me by clicking on the above link so I can send you my mailing address.

Marcome is a Canadian musician, singer, and songwriter. She currently has two CDs available, both featuring beautiful vocals, and various global influences.

Llewellyn and Juliana are a musical duo from the UK. Their music consists of beautiful vocals and relaxing instrumentations. There are lots of samples on their website, as well as an online store where you can purchase their CDs.

Japetus is an Australian composer of ambient music. His web site features a biography, videos, artwork, writings, and more! Samples of his various CDs are available in MP3 and Quicktime format. You can order his CDs on CD Baby, and iTunes.

Valleri Sauro is a Canadian composer of cinematic and light classical music. Her site features samples of her CD "Introspective", a biography, and more.

Enam is a Celtic New Age artist from the Netherlands. You can listen to samples of his music, and even download free MP3 files.

Real Music is a label specializing in relaxing New Age music. Artists include "Liquid Mind", 2002, Hilary Stagg, Kevin Kern, Nicholas Gunn, Brian BecVar, and Karunesh. You can order their CDs online, and there are lots of audio samples as well.

Serenity Music is a label providing music for massage, therapy, and guided imagery. Artists include Rob Whitesides-Woo, Shardad, Pat Clemence, Suzanne Michelle, and Dwight Dixon. In addition to purchasing their CDs and tapes online, you can also order a free "Audio Taster" CD, which contains samples from Serenity's various albums, as well as information about the artists.

Groove Unlimited is a label specializing in ambient electronic music. Artists featured include Gert Emmens, the Alpha-Wave Movement, Ron Boots, Frank van Bogaert, and Erik Wollow.

New Earth Records is a label specializing in New Age, Relaxation, Celtic, Global Fusion, Trance, and Ambient music. Artists include Deuter, Cybertribe, Waterbone, Parijat, Galactic Agents, and Terry Oldfield.

Robin Barber is an Ambient music composer from California. His music comprises elements of World, Ethnic, Contemporary Instrumental, Neoclassical, and New Age musical styles. Free downloads are available, and you can order the CD "Earth" online.

Serah is a singer, composer and songwriter from California. Her CD, "Late Harvest", features a combination of Smooth Jazz, Folk, and African influences. Samples of this CD are available, and you can also order the CD online.

Simon Cooper is a New Age/Ambient/World Beat/Chill Out composer from the UK. His most recent CD, "The Jeweled Planet", features tribal rhythms, ambient textures, nature sounds, and the beautiful vocals of Belgian soprano Manuela van Geenhoven. Plus, the CD is produced using innovative environmentally friendly packaging, and when you order the CD, $1.00 will be donated to the "Friends of the Elephant" charity. Sound samples of the CD are also available.

Clarelynn Rose is a New Age guitarist from California. If you like Acoustic New Age music, be sure to check out her CDs "Elegant Tern" and "Meadow Run".

Aurah is a New Age project featuring Swiss artists Judith Martin and Marc Dold. Their CD "Songs of the Alchemist" features beautiful vocals and great guitar playing, all combined with internationally flavored organic electronica music. You can purchase the CD online, and listen to samples in Real Audio format.

Amethystium is an excellent project from Norway. If you like music from groups like Enigma, Deep Forest, etc., then I think you'll like Amethystium's music.
