January 7, 2008: First, I'd like to wish everyone a belated Happy New Year. Due to some technical problems, my websites had to be taken offline, but we're back and better than ever!

My Podcast

Every so often, I produce a radio show-styled podcast, where I'll discuss such things as music, computer and console games, etc., as well as feature music from independent artists.

My Hobbies and Interests

I'm a visually impaired musician, creative writer, amateur radio operator (my callsign is VE5KJS), shortwave radio listener, and Internet addict. I live in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada.
I have written various articles for Audyssey, a free magazine that deals with accessible games for the blind and visually impaired, and host Northern Lights, a show playing the best mix of relaxing music from independent and mainstream artists on ACB Radio Interactive.

My Music and Production Work

One of my favorite activities is playing music. I play keyboards, the accordian, electric bass guitar, etc.

This is a jingle I composed for WinAmp, my favorite audio player.
Northern Lights (1999)
When I heard my family discussing how beautiful the northern lights looked, I began to imagine how they would look to a visually impaired person's perspective. That's what inspired this composition. This song was created using only my Roland E28 keyboard, and Power Tracks Pro, my first MIDI sequencer.
